Robert O. Wynne
Robert O. Wynne has been practicing for over 20 years in the Hartford area in commercial litigation and transactions, family law, workers’ compensation, general civil litigation, personal injury litigation, tax appeal litigation, golf course litigation and tax appeals, criminal law, wills, trusts, and estate planning, and real estate law.
Attorney Wynne is a member of the American Bar Association, the Hartford County Bar Association, and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. Attorney Wynne has been a guest speaker for the Hartford County Bar Association. Attorney Wynne has been awarded the BV Distinguished Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. The BV Distinguished Rating is earned through a strenuous Peer Review Rating Process that is managed and monitored by Martindale-Hubbel. Attorney Wynne received Very High Ratings in both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards. In addition, Attorney Wynne has been listed to the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers which includes only firms with the Highest Ratings in Legal Ability and Ethical Standards.
Attorney Wynne is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and received his law degree from New England School of Law in 1991. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1991. While attending law school, and since 1984, Mr. Wynne held various managerial positions with American International Group, New York, New York, where he was employed in the development and implementation of new insurance products and insurance contract coverage, particularly in the areas of automobile insurance and professional and management liability. Prior to starting his own firm, Wynne Law Group, LLC, in January 2013, Mr. Wynne was a partner in the firm of Gould Killian & Wynne in Hartford, CT for over 20 years.
Attorney Wynne lives with his wife and 5 children in Glastonbury, Connecticut.
Emily Bagdonis Bochman
Emily Bagdonis Bochman has been with Wynne Law Group since August of 2013. She earned her J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law, where she obtained valuable experience both as an extern clerk for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Montana, and as a Special Deputy County Attorney at the Yellowstone County Attorney’s Office. She earned her B.S. in International Business from Central Connecticut State University.
Before joining Wynne Law Group, Emily was a Temporary Assistant Clerk at the Superior Court Clerk’s Office in Hartford, Criminal Division. A Marlborough native, she returned to Connecticut to practice and make a difference in her home state. Emily is a member of the Hartford County Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.
Attorney Bochman practices in the Hartford area in a number of areas, including collection law, family law, general civil litigation, and personal injury.
J. Mark Silhavy
Attorney Silhavy joined Wynne Law Group as Of Counsel.
Attorney Silhavy’s areas of practice include Taxation, IRA and Retirement Plan Distribution Planning, Estate and Trust Planning, Probate, Residential and Commercial Real Estate Transactions, Foreclosures, and Business Organizations.
Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Silhavy held positions at MetLife, involved with annuity and life insurance issues. Attorney Silhavy was in private practice for more than 20 years in the Greater Hartford area representing individual and business clients. Attorney Silhavy has lectured frequently on Insurance, Annuity and Taxation related matters for continuing education courses.
Attorney Silhavy is a graduate of Hobart College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, received his Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law.
Attorney Silhavy is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
Lara F. Wynne
Wynne Law Group is pleased to announce the addition of Lara F. Wynne as Director of Marketing and Business Development.
In this role, Lara Wynne will work closely with the team’s leadership and partners to develop and implement marketing and business development plans, while overseeing efforts to facilitate cross-office and cross-practice collaboration for the benefit of firm clients. Lara will also manage all aspects of the firms branding and marketing strategy, including communications, media, and public relations.

Lara comes to Wynne Law group with more than 15 years’ experience as marketing and branding professional in Connecticut. In her previous roles, Lara successfully oversaw business development efforts for private practices, forged strategic alliances, organized regional society efforts, charity events, guest lectures, and educational programs for the benefit of clients and the community.
Lara will represent Wynne Law Group at various functions including Chamber events, sponsored events, tradeshows, community events, and business development opportunities. She has a proven track record of fostering a business development culture focused on a strategic, proactive, and client-centric approach.
Lara Wynne is a graduate of Old Dominion University, with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Marketing Education. She lives in South Glastonbury, CT with her husband and 3 daughters.
